Mel chose Ladysmith, BC in 2007. The small, quaint, town with "Heritage by the Sea" captured her heart.
She always dreamed of owning her own shop. Mel is passionate about fashion, community, sustainability and creative designs.
When a person feels confident about themselves, it completely shifts how they present out in the world!
Mel is all about empowerment!
Most of her artisans and companies are women owned and small businesses.
Some even using Left Coast as their very first retail space to launch/promote their work!
